Taking His Own Look
The first inkling of these tunnels surfaced in the scientific community during the 1930s. Back then, scientists were of the conviction that these were products of natural geological processes rather than man-made structures.
Decades went by with this notion largely unchallenged. However, in 2010, a spark of curiosity ignited in geologist Amilcar Adamy from the Brazilian Geological Survey. Drawn to this enigma, he decided to probe into the true origins of this cave system.
