A happy ending
The CEO thanked the Andersons and happily gave them the reward for finding his horse. Jane did not care about the reward. She still saw Shadow as her horse and she could not stop crying. The CEO was touched and told her that he would allow her to see Treasure any time she wanted to.

The Andersons eventually used their reward to buy another horse a few weeks later. This time, they were able to invest in a more expensive breed and this time, they made sure that the horse was fully checked, identified, and chipped. It did not take long for Jane to love it just as much as she had loved Rio and Shadow.
