Samsung Will Say Goodbye To Chargers And Earbuds In Future Phones

Samsung has unveiled to the public that the company will no longer provide charging bricks, therefore leaving itself more wiggle room. In recent discussion regarding the company’s decision to exclude headphones and charging bricks, Samsung said that it believes that by making this change, it will positively impact the brand’s efforts to sustainability.

Although the company plans to do this for most, this will not be applicable to its other brand such as the Galaxy line. From the high-end models to the budget friendly devices, it has left them with more room in the box to be able to keep including accessories in them for a little while longer.

Who knows why they have decided to keep the charger in cheaper phones but it may be either one of two things. First, the company may not want to upset users of their high-end lines if they find out that the $2,000 phone they bought doesn’t have a charger. Second, they may want a boost in sales.

While a company such as Samsung shipping older products with something that isn’t included in its latest line anymore might seem a little bit off, it only means that the tech giant does not have to re-manufacture all the boxes for its old products and that consumers won’t end up in a position where they have a completely different story to tell compared to the unboxing videos they see online.

Either way, Samsung has definitely chosen to take it slow and steady to ensure both parties are win-win.
