Microsoft Makeover: Dynamic View Feature Scheduled For March Release

Microsoft has upped the ante by updating the features on its Teams service. They are soon to release a new Dynamic View in March of this year. This new view enables users to share side by side content with other participants in the conference. This is perfect for meetings with a need for presentations or if all of the users are watching a livestream or video together.

Contents such as financial reports, slide decks or power points and even videos can be displayed at the same time as other speakers. Currently, participant video feeds are minimized when people are screen sharing or presenting something. The present Gallery View for Teams will automatically update, and participants can personalize their view as soon as this is rolled out.

This new update will also highlight active speakers, participants who have virtually raised their hands and also enable pinning of specific people next to the dynamic content being displayed. This feature was originally disclosed by Microsoft back in July of 2020 but according to Microsoft’s 365 product roadmap, this will be available in March of this year.

It is no denying that the use of this service has been on-demand ever since the start of the global pandemic. It is estimated that there are about 115 million people who use it on a daily basis. Previously, features like Virtual Breakout Rooms was released last December together with an improved user calling experience.
