Marvel has revealed that superhero, Black Panther is now available in Fortnite. You can get him along with Captain Marvel and Taskmaster for only $24.99 as part of the Marvel Royalty and Warriors Pack.

There was a previous hint from Epic towards Black Panther’s so long-awaited arrival with the roll out of the Wakandan Salute emote. The salute has become somewhat of an iconic greeting with many of the cast members of the 2018 Black Panther speaking so highly of it many months after it was first released. Of course, no one can ever forget that the film grossed about $1.35 billion at the box office including a whopping $700.4 million domestically.

For those who have played Fortnite’s Marvel-themed previous season, many would note that a large statue of the Black Panther had appeared on the map while players are also able to find a Black Panther superpower but unfortunately, not the Black Panther skin in the in-game store. Many fans believe that the skin was supposed to be released but was then postponed after the death of Chadwick Boseman last August, who played the superhero in the movie. Good news is that Marvel is planning on a sequel with a scheduled release of 2022 but said they will not recast Boseman’s character for the film.

The newest season to the game now focuses on individual bounty hunters joining the in-game universe. While Epic has created a ton of other original characters for the current season’s battle pass, you also can play as the Mandalorian and even have Baby Yoda float next to you in his capsule once you reach the 100thlevel. Epic has added a lot of characters which will make the in-game experience even more exciting.
